Country house weddings in Jersey

Château la Chaire is approved as a suitable venue to hold civil wedding ceremonies for up to 60 persons within our drawing room, or up to 30 persons within our conservatory. This option we include complimentary with packages along with preferential room rates for your guests should they require accommodation.

For your wedding breakfast our conservatory restaurant holds a maximum of 30 guests, parties above this can be divided between our oak panelled restaurant and conservatory. Wedding parties up to 70 can be catered for if utilising our private dining room also. All wedding breakfasts would be required to be seated between 12 noon and 2pm unless utilising the Chateau on an exclusive use basis. This option also allows you to arrange your day in any way you choose as well as the option for evening entertainment.

Children under 5 years old will eat with our compliments from a child’s menu selection as discussed and we will also be happy to discuss price options for those children at 6 and above. Over 14’s would be charged as full menu without a wine option.

The hotel is situated a short walk from the sea at Rozel Bay and set in 8 acres of terraced gardens and woodland. It is the perfect place to capture those romantic moments for your photo album. Coupled with the warmth and friendliness only to be expected in the best of country house hotels, we consider our venue ideal for such a romantic occasion.
